Gilberto Cintrón
Founder & President/CEO
Gil is the visionary behind C.H.A.T. for Democracy. With over 30 years of leadership in nonprofit administration and a lifetime of lived experience in civic engagement and recovery advocacy, Gil merges innovation with purpose. He is the author of Mental Health Mastery for Remote Workers and the driving force behind integrating AI into accessible civic education.

Juana Pacheco
Secretary/Treasurer
Juana brings over three decades of executive leadership in national organizations, including the National Hispanic Education Fund, Latina Style Magazine, the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the Office of the Governor of Puerto Rico. Known for her strategic thinking and financial oversight, Juana anchors the organization with her deep commitment to education and community empowerment.

Atabex Cintrón
Vice President, Board of Directors
Atabex represents the next generation of leadership. With a background in grassroots organizing and youth leadership development, she ensures that the voice of young people shapes the mission and programming of C.H.A.T. for Democracy. She’s a dedicated advocate for equity and innovation in education.
